April 22nd at 6:30 PMEarth Day - CRMS FILM

Camden-Rockport Middle School

Come join S.E.A. at the Camden-Rockport Middle School for an Earth Day movie night on April 22nd at 6:30pm!

The MSAD #28 and Camden Hills Regional High School have a robust composting program. Yet, very few people in our district know about it or know the significance of such a program. On April 22nd, Earth Day, the Environmental Club at the middle school and Stewardship Education Alliance are hosting a movie night featuring Kiss the Ground, a movie that will help folks understand the important role that composting can play in supporting natural systems to mitigate climate change.

Following the movie, there will be a presentation by the high school composting management team and Tessa Rosenberry and Davis Saltonstall from Scrap Dogs, a local composting service. The movie is 45 minutes long. The whole presentation should be no more than 1.5 hours long. Don’t forget to put it on your calendar: Monday, April 22, 2024 at 6:30pm.
