Participating in Camden Windjammer Days gave S.E.A. the opportunity to meet many visitors to the event, tell then about the S.E.A. mission and work, and introduce the to the Mobile Marine Tank. As is clear in the photographs, people of all ages were intrigued by the chance to interact with creatures that live in our waters.S.E.A.Vice President Wayne Ruesswick, who built the tank, welcomed visitors and answered questions, and everyone seems to have a very good time.
S.E.A. also held a very successful RAFFLE! So many people bought tickets that the Board was able to award four additional grants this fall. Generous donors provided 7 terrific prizes including: tickets for two aboard Schooners Mary Day, Appledore, Surprise, Lazy Jack, Cutter Olad, as well as trips with Camden Harbor Cruises and Maine Sport Outfitters kayak Tours. Each prize basket also contained gifts from local businesses including: GOODS, Owl & Turtle Book Shop and Café, Stonewall Kitchens, Symmetree Base Camp, and The Village Shop. Thank you ALL!
