On June 4th, 16 environmental organizations sharing the mission to foster good stewardship gathered at the Camden Public Library Amphitheatre to show their stuff! Check out the S.E.A. website to learn more about who was there. Many residents and visitors attended, and several won incredible Out/door Prizes donated by Camden Harbor Cruises, Maine Sports, Hurricane Island, and the schooners Appledore, Surprise and the Mary Day. We’re already planning for S.E.A. FAIR 2022. Please enjoy this wonderful article in THE VILLAGE SOUP.
Exhibits included an aquaponics tank from Herring Gut Learning Center, salmon sculpture by Barb Williams’ third Grade students at CRES, and the new S.E.A. mobile marine tank sponsored by First National Bank, as well as tables for Knox-Lincoln County Soil & Water, Oceanswide, Maine Environmental Education Association, National Resources Council of Maine, Maine Dept. of Agriculture Conservation & Forestry, Coastal Mountains Land Trust, Maine Center for Coastal Fisheries, The Wild Seed Project, Watershed School, Rockport Conservation Commission, and Camden Public Library. They all want to return next year, and other organizations want to join S.E.A. FAIR 2022.
